Jarne' brings 14 years of coaching experience at the high school, club and college levels. After a standout career as an outside hitter at South Carolina State, where she earned a degree in English in 2011. Carroll was the 2010 MEAC Player of the Year after leading South Carolina State to the conference championship and winning it for the first time in 20 years. She also received MEAC Tournament Player of the Year, a four time All MEAC First Team member, and MEAC player of the week all four years. Her most recent accolade is being inducted into the South Carolina State Hall of Fame where she is a 2 time Hall of Famer.
She began her coaching career in 2010 as an assistant coach with the Orangeburg Lady Cubs 18U team. She became the head coach in 2011, and saw four of her players receive scholarship offers. From 2013 to 2015, Carroll served as an assistant coach at Stillwater High School in Stillwater, where she helped guide the team to a regional championship. She also worked as the head coach for the Stillwater Volleyball Club 15U and 16U Premier teams. Carroll's coaching journey continued to Dallas, TX where she assisted in the start of Waterview Wolves Volleyball Club. She served as the Club Director, and coached 18s, 17s, and 16s Premier Teams during her time there. While in Dallas, Jarne' served as the Volunteer Assistant for Southern Methodist University, where they won the American Conference two years in a row and advanced to the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament. In 2018 Jarne' helped kick start Northwest Arkansas Junior Storm Volleyball Club along with coaching the 16s and 17s National Teams. Her teams both years qualified for GJNC. Seven of her players received scholarships! Carrolls last stop before making the transition to MHK was in Tampa FL, where she coached the 17s Silver at Club Steel. Jarne is the founder and owner of Manhattan Mamba Volleyball Club! Her vision and desire to impact many athletes to be the best version of themselves. Carroll is married to Trumain Carroll, the Director of Strength and Conditioning for K State Football, the couple have a six year old son named Deuce and an almost 1 year old daughter, Mira.
